BI Analyst – Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role

SEB’s Business Intelligence team transforms raw data from the data warehouse into meaningful information. As a BI Analyst you will contribute to BI solutions from idea to production, supporting data‑driven decisions across the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Work through the full IT delivery lifecycle: estimation, design, development support, testing, deployment and post‑release verification.
• Develop and maintain data loading processes, data models, WebFOCUS reports and reporting solutions.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes and drive continuous improvements.
• Participate actively in Delivery Team sprints and contribute to sprint goals.

Required profile

• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with confidence to clarify and challenge requirements.
• Analytical thinking and ability to understand detailed requirements and the bigger picture.
• Proactive, responsible attitude with ownership of tasks.
• Good written and spoken English for collaboration across the Baltics.

Required skills

• Solid SQL skills and ability to work directly with data.
• Understanding of data warehousing principles, data structures, schemas and data modelling.
• Hands‑on experience in an IT development environment.
• Experience with Sybase IQ, PostgreSQL, TIBCO WebFOCUS, Power BI, JIRA, Collibra, GIT/Bitbucket.
