Back-End Developer (Go) – Embedded & IoT

About the role

Ubiquiti is looking for an experienced Back‑End Developer proficient in Go to build and maintain high‑performance APIs and embedded services for its IoT and networking product lines. You will work on a global team delivering software that powers millions of devices worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and document robust, scalable and secure RESTful APIs using Go.
• Develop backend applications for embedded platforms, tightly integrated with hardware and network subsystems.
• Architect backend systems with a focus on performance, maintainability and scalability.
• Perform network programming and system‑level integration across multiple components.
• Collaborate with Front‑end, UX, and QA teams to ensure cohesive product development.
• Participate in code reviews, share knowledge and uphold high‑quality delivery standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Go development experience.
• 5+ years working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Proven ability to design and develop RESTful APIs.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent in English and Latvian.
