Automation Business Partner

About the role

As an Automation Business Partner within Roche Services and Solutions, you will lead end‑to‑end automation projects that streamline business processes and support colleagues worldwide. You will work in an agile, globally distributed team, collaborating closely with analysts, developers and product owners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of automation solutions from idea assessment to retirement.
• Assess new use cases, map processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Create project documentation such as business cases, process designs and progress reports.
• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to design, test and operate solutions.
• Partner with the global product owner to manage project portfolios, resource allocation and OKRs.
• Manage live catalogue solutions, drive adoption, handle incidents, change requests and decommission legacy applications.
• Act as a strategic liaison across teams, fostering innovation through workshops and demand generation.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial and analytical project leader comfortable in an agile, self‑aligning environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent cross‑functional communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools.
• SAP scripting or SAP S/4HANA knowledge.
• AppSheet, AWS, GCP or VBA experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (a plus).
• Understanding of ERP systems.
