Associate Director, Clinical Project Management

About the role

The Associate Director – Clinical Project Management will lead the operational execution of CNS biotech studies from pre‑award through close‑out. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures timely, high‑quality delivery, strong financial performance and customer satisfaction while leveraging IQVIA’s therapeutic expertise and solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead bid‑defense presentations and collaborate with Business Development on large, multi‑country studies.
• Develop integrated study management plans with core project teams and oversee strategic execution.
• Serve as primary contact for customers, managing relationships and communicating project status.
• Set objectives for project teams, monitor progress, and proactively address risks, issues, and change control.
• Coach and mentor junior staff on project delivery, risk management and problem‑solving.
• Ensure financial success by optimizing resource allocation, managing scope changes and maintaining profitability.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Senior Clinical Project Manager, preferably within CNS therapeutic area.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑regional studies and lead cross‑functional teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience with bid defense and contract negotiation.
