Aircraft Mechanic

About the role

AirSup is looking for an aircraft mechanic to join its team in Riga (Skultē), Latvia. The position is described as interesting permanent work in a growing, fast-expanding company within the aviation industry.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain aircraft and components, including servicing, inspections, cleaning, removal and installation of parts and rectifying defects
• Complete the necessary paperwork according to company regulations
• Assist aircraft engineers in their duties

Required profile

• At least one year of experience in vehicle or vessel mechanical repair, preferably aircraft, gained through technical training, apprenticeship or similar
• Technical education; aviation education is an advantage
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Airport Security Badge through the local airport authority

Required skills

• Good computer skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• High sense of duty and responsibility, interest in learning new things
