About the role

IKEA Latvia is looking for a Senior Sales Consultant to join the Bedroom & Living Room Furniture department in its Riga store. You will be the main point of contact for customers seeking furniture solutions, helping them create functional and stylish living spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Advise customers on wardrobe, shelving systems and overall home‑furnishing solutions.
• Participate actively in the sales process and share product knowledge with the team.
• Maintain the visual presentation of the sales area, ensuring the store looks freshly opened each day.
• Support the department manager and act as their substitute when needed, including scheduling, priority setting, monitoring sales results and driving growth.

Required profile

• Retail experience, preferably with some team‑leadership responsibilities.
• Excellent sales and communication abilities.
• Proven ability to track and improve sales performance.
• Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic environment and set priorities.
• Willingness to work shift patterns, including weekends and holidays.
• Fluent Latvian language skills.
• Good computer proficiency.
• Interest in interior design and home furnishing.
