Unreal Engine / C++ Engineer (Game Development)

About the role

Evolution, a multinational online gaming company, is looking for passionate Unreal Engine / C++ engineers to build real-time 3D applications for its virtual production studios. You will develop games and environments shown live on studio screens, LED walls and greenscreen setups, from on-screen games and interactive graphics to immersive virtual environments.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with Product Delivery Managers, artists and designers to create engaging gameplay.
• Build and optimize real-time 3D content so games and virtual environments run reliably on studio screens, LED walls and greenscreen setups.
• Own the network, memory, GPU and CPU usage of your features.

Required profile

• Passion for software development and enjoyment of writing and maintaining code.
• Willingness to invest effort in becoming a better developer.
• Experience with the visual side of real-time 3D, such as materials, animations, lighting, composition and scene optimization.

Required skills

• Unreal Engine 5, with experience in both Unreal Blueprints and C++ and an understanding of when to use each.
• Git.
• Nice to have: unit and automated testing, strong C/C++ and OOP knowledge, geometry modeling and linear algebra, HTTP/Web Sockets.

• Gross monthly salary of 4,500 to 8,000 EUR.
