Store Supervisor – Retail Operations at Riga Airport

About the role

As one of the first Store Supervisors for Avolta’s new duty‑free operation at Riga Airport, you will help build a brand‑new retail concept, shape team culture and deliver an exceptional shopping experience for travellers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Sales Associates in daily store operations.
• Drive sales performance, monitor KPIs and ensure excellent customer service.
• Plan and coordinate daily activities, staffing and shift schedules.
• Coach, motivate and provide regular feedback to team members.
• Ensure compliance with cash‑handling procedures, operational standards and company policies.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new employees.
• Take overall responsibility for the store during assigned shifts, including operational decision‑making.
• Prepare daily and weekly store reports and handle administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory or team‑lead experience in retail, hospitality, travel retail or a similar customer‑focused environment.
• Strong passion for sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Ability to motivate, coach and develop team members.
• Excellent organizational, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills in a fast‑paced setting.
• Good English proficiency and ability to serve customers in Latvian; additional languages are a plus.
