Storage Solutions Architect

About the role

The Storage Solutions Architect will provide central technical pre‑sales support for server, storage and networking solutions across Central Eastern Europe, the Middle East and CIS. You will work closely with Business Development Managers, local VAD teams and key customers to design and present complex IT architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Identify customer needs, qualify opportunities and deliver on‑site or web‑based technical presentations.
• Prepare solution designs, RFP responses, competitive comparisons and detailed technical documentation.
• Lead the creation of complex solutions involving servers, storage systems, networking, virtualization, cloud, backup, monitoring and security.
• Manage a team of Support and Field Engineers responsible for Pure Storage installations, including case handling, training and certification.
• Build, demonstrate and troubleshoot Proof‑of‑Concept systems and educate staff and customers on new products.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with a distributor, vendor or system integrator.
• Fluent in English; Russian is a plus.
• Deep understanding of modern IT technologies (servers, storage, virtualization, backup, disaster recovery, cloud, HPC, SDS/HCI, networking and security).
• Hands‑on experience with at least one major server/storage brand (e.g., Dell EMC, HPE, Cisco, IBM, Hitachi Vantara, Supermicro).
• Strong technical presentation and communication skills.
