SEO Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an SEO specialist to own search at LegitGrails end‑to‑end. This hands‑on role covers our Shopify storefront, a React‑based education platform, a mobile app and a library of 300+ authentication guides. You will move beyond audit recommendations to ship fixes that improve domain authority, referring‑domain quality and AI‑driven visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Implement SEO audit recommendations across web properties, working with developers.
• On‑page and technical SEO tasks such as titles, meta descriptions, schema markup, internal linking, 301 redirects, sitemaps, robots.txt, image alt text, and page‑speed optimisation.
• Maintain and expand the library of 300+ authentication guides, reviewing, optimizing existing content and briefing 10‑15 new pieces per month.
• Develop and coordinate a quality‑focused backlink strategy, including vendor selection, brief writing and quality control.
• Optimise for AI‑driven search results to ensure visibility in ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI overviews.
• Distribute content on Reddit and niche forums while supporting brand reputation.
• Assist with light PR and outreach, securing expert placements, interviews and editorial mentions.
• Report on referring domains, keyword positions and organic traffic using Ahrefs, Google Search Console and GA4.

Required profile

• Hands‑on SEO experience in e‑commerce, comfortable with Shopify and custom or headless front‑ends.
• Proven ability to work with developers on technical fixes and see them shipped.
• Focus on high‑quality backlinks and editorial placements rather than bulk links.
• Comfortable engaging in Reddit and forum communities without harming brand reputation.
• Transparent use of AI tools in daily work.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
