Senior Software Engineer (Java)

About the role

Join Luminor as a Senior Software Engineer in the Document Management area of the IT division. You will improve platforms that cover the full document lifecycle, from generation to signing, working within a pan‑Baltic agile team.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain modern document‑management, generation, archiving and signing solutions.
• Develop API‑driven, micro‑service and cloud‑native applications on AWS.
• Optimize software to meet IT standards, security hardening and vulnerability management.
• Coordinate with product suppliers on road‑maps and operational topics.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and define best practices.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including testing and deployment.
• Analyse business requirements, perform system analysis and produce technical documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with Java.
• Solid knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns.
• Strong expertise with AWS services (S3, OpenSearch, etc.) and Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Background in a regulated industry, preferably banking or finance.
• Proactive attitude and ownership of solutions.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
