Senior Accountant

About the role

The Finance & Control department at Circle K Business Centre in Riga is part of a global finance organization supporting European operations. As a Senior Accountant you will ensure accurate accounting and reporting while collaborating with business units across Europe and North America.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and year‑end financial statements and support audit processes.
• Resolve accounting discrepancies, manage intercompany reconciliations and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Maintain close dialogue with business units and stakeholders in Europe and North America.
• Participate in improvement projects within accounting and reporting.

Required profile

• University degree in economics, finance, accounting, mathematics or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting or audit, preferably in an international environment.
• Strong analytical abilities and ability to work in a challenging environment.
• Fluent English (oral and written) for communication with colleagues and stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Oracle JDE.
• Familiarity with Longview reporting system.
