Scrum Master, Data & Analytics

About the role

Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for an experienced, servant-minded Scrum Master to support agile delivery within its Global Data & Analytics (D&A) organization. You will coach and guide one or more Agile teams delivering data, analytics and AI-driven solutions, ensuring Agile principles are understood and followed, and helping teams remove impediments and stay aligned with D&A priorities. The position is permanent, based in Riga, and requires a valid EU/EEA work permit (no relocation assistance).

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, reviews, retrospectives) and guide teams through backlog refinement and sprint execution.
• Coach Product Owners, Developers, Analysts and other team members on Agile practices.
• Identify and remove delivery roadblocks, help teams improve their Agile maturity, and support collaboration across distributed teams.
• Track team metrics such as velocity, burn-down and cycle time, and escalate risks, blockers and capacity issues to Program and Product leadership.
• Work with Agile Project Managers and Portfolio Leads to align team efforts with larger initiative timelines.
• Contribute to the Agile community of practice, partner with the PMO on scaled Agile practices, and help evolve shared templates, tools and ceremonies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Team Coach, preferably in a data, analytics or tech environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional Agile teams in a fast-paced, global organization.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban and SAFe frameworks; Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile tooling such as Jira, Confluence, Aha! and Rally, and Agile metrics.
• Exceptional facilitation, communication and coaching skills.
