Sales Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded Sales Assistant to support our North American sales activities from our Riga office. Working closely with the Head of Sales North America and one or two Account Executives, you will help move opportunities from initial discussions through quotation, purchase order and project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Support communication and follow‑up with US customers throughout the sales cycle.
• Prepare commercial proposals, quotations and related sales documentation.
• Participate in technical and commercial calls to gather project requirements, timelines and scope.
• Track opportunities, monitor deal progression and ensure agreed actions are completed.
• Monitor customer purchase orders, values, limits and potential overruns.
• Assist with project profitability analysis using internal tools.
• Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Project Management, Finance and other departments to gather information for accurate quotations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date information on opportunities, pricing and commercial status.

Required profile

• Excellent written and spoken English with confidence communicating professionally with international customers.
• Willingness to work from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM Riga time.
• Highly organized and comfortable operating in ambiguous or fast‑changing situations.
• Strong drive for results and ownership of open issues.
• Commercial judgement, attention to detail and ability to coordinate several opportunities simultaneously.
• Previous experience in sales support, business development, project coordination or a technical/industrial environment is an advantage.
• Experience working with international or US customers is an advantage.
