About the role

The position involves performing welding, assembly and maintenance tasks on tram rail tracks, turnouts and special rail constructions. The successful candidate will ensure the quality of welds and the safe operation of the rail infrastructure throughout the year.

Key responsibilities

• Execute welding of metal components, rail joints and special rail structures.
• Carry out cleaning, routine maintenance and emergency repairs of tram rail tracks.
• Perform quality control checks on all welding work.
• Maintain safe and reliable rail operation in all seasons.

Required profile

• Completed secondary, vocational or professional education in welding or a welding certification.
• State language (Latvian) proficiency at level A2 or higher.
• At least one year of professional experience as a welder.
