Regulatory Reporting Expert

About the role

As a Finance Regulatory & Statistical Reporting Expert you will join the Baltic Finance Statutory & Regulatory Excellence team at SEB. The role focuses on Lithuanian local regulatory and statistical reporting, with the possibility to expand to Baltic‑wide responsibilities. You will act as the subject‑matter expert for reporting obligations, interpreting new regulations and driving their implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and interpret new or changed laws, regulations and business initiatives, determining their impact on reporting obligations, methodologies and processes.
• Drive implementation of new reporting requirements together with Finance Development, External Reporting and other stakeholder teams.
• Own and maintain internal regulatory reporting policies, methodologies and instructions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, auditors, SEB Group functions and other key stakeholders.
• Lead responses to inquiries and ad‑hoc requests from local and EU authorities and contribute to audits and regulatory reviews.

Required profile

• Higher education in finance, economics, mathematics or business management.
• Proven experience in financial, regulatory, statistical or supervisory reporting, audit or interpretation of regulations.
• Strong understanding of reporting regulations, financial reporting principles and their impact on statutory reporting.
• Excellent coordination, communication and negotiation skills, with ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
