Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

QA Engineers perform testing and quality assurance throughout product development and collaborate with multiple teams across the organization. They significantly influence product quality and play an important role in overall operations.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside Developers and Product teams in an agile environment to proactively improve software quality.
• Create and execute functional and non‑functional tests.
• Maintain and develop test automation components.
• Provide test metrics related to progress and product quality.
• Give feedback on requirements, designs, and code changes.

Required profile

• Experience as a QA Engineer.
• Experience with RESTful API test automation using Java/Groovy.
• Experience with web test automation using Selenium and Java/Groovy.
• Strong awareness of a variety of test techniques.
• Good spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Experience working in an agile, multidisciplinary delivery team.
• Awareness of BDD and experience with the Cucumber framework.
• Knowledge of the Groovy language.
• Knowledge of the Geb testing framework.
• Experience testing distributed systems.
• Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins and testing within a CD environment.
• Experience with mobile automation using Appium.
• Experience with performance testing.
• ISEB/ISTQB certification.
• Exposure to financial systems.
• Experience testing REST services.
