QA Engineer (Hybrid, Riga)

About the role

We’re looking for a QA Engineer to join our growing office in Riga. You will be an essential part of the IT team, testing new features and ensuring system stability for our fintech solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hands‑on testing of new features (functional, regression, sanity).
• Validate releases before production deployment and identify edge cases.
• Design, maintain and evolve test cases, test plans and automated test coverage (API, UI, integration).
• Support and coordinate delivery of changes into production.
• Collaborate closely with developers to catch issues early and improve QA processes.

Required profile

• Experience in QA/software testing with a focus on manual testing.
• Interest in using AI tools to improve testing and QA processes.
• Experience or strong interest in test automation.
• Understanding of APIs, backend systems and integrations.
• Ability to think critically, work in a fast‑moving product environment and adapt quickly.
• Analytical and logical mindset with strong organizational skills.
• Collaborative, team‑oriented personality.

Required skills

• API testing tools such as Postman or other REST clients.
• UI test automation frameworks.
• Basic scripting in Python, JavaScript or similar languages.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
