QA Automation Engineer (Python)

About the role

Ubiquiti is looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong Python expertise to design, develop and maintain automated tests for a range of networking devices. You will work closely with global development teams to ensure product quality and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Work daily with various network‑type devices, including Internet, Wi‑Fi, VLAN, firewall and VPN equipment.
• Create, maintain and execute automated test scripts using Python and related tools.
• Identify, report and follow up on bugs throughout the development cycle.
• Perform front‑end and back‑end testing across the full QA process.
• Analyse release notes and project documentation to design new or update existing test scenarios.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in automated quality assurance.
• Fluent in English and Latvian.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Bash scripting.
• Jenkins pipelines with Groovy DSL.
• Experience with AI tools such as Claude or Codex.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (Internet, Wi‑Fi, VLAN, firewall, VPN).
