People Operations Specialist

About the role

As a People Operations Specialist you will manage day‑to‑day hire‑to‑retire activities for employees across Europe. Working closely with senior specialists and reporting teams, you will ensure that all people processes are executed accurately, on time, and in compliance with governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process routine hire‑to‑retire transactions, including onboarding, contract changes, benefits updates, and off‑boarding.
• Maintain and correct employee data in the people system, performing regular validation checks.
• Prepare and issue people documentation such as contracts, amendments, and confirmation letters.
• Monitor workflow approvals, notifications, and escalations to guarantee timely execution.
• Collaborate with Payroll Operations, Talent Operations, People Technology, and People Services to resolve data queries.
• Support audit activities, including J‑SOX compliance tasks and data reconciliations.
• Respond to basic employee and manager queries, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Assist in maintaining process documentation, work instructions, and standard templates.
• Generate standard people reports and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in people administration, preferably in a shared‑services environment.
• Understanding of employee lifecycle activities and data requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document preparation.
• Ability to follow structured processes, meet deadlines, and escalate appropriately.
• Fluent written and spoken English for communication across Europe.

Required skills

• SAP SuccessFactors (advantageous).
