Mid/Senior Data Engineer – Risk & Finance Reporting

About the role

We are looking for a Mid/Senior Data Engineer to join Luminor’s Risk and Finance Reporting unit. You will help build the data engineering foundation for risk and finance reporting, integrating data across systems and supporting regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve data ingestion, processing, storage and sharing systems.
• Build and optimise scalable, reliable data architectures and ETL/ELT pipelines using modern tools.
• Ensure seamless integration and synchronization across banking systems while maintaining data quality, security and performance.
• Collaborate with analysts, software engineers and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, implement monitoring and alerting for data workflows.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, preferably in the financial industry.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
