About the role

Veselības Centrs 4 is looking for a nurse or medical assistant to work in its blood‑sample collection rooms. The role involves taking venous blood samples, handling specimens, and supporting administrative tasks in a busy outpatient setting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform venous blood draws from patients following safety protocols.
• Receive, label, and store laboratory specimens correctly.
• Enter patient information into the electronic information system.
• Operate the cash‑register/payment system for patient billing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sampling rooms.

Required profile

• Registered in the national health‑personnel register.
• High attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility.
• Mandatory practical experience in venous blood sampling.
• Good command of the Latvian language.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Venipuncture (blood sample collection).
• Operation of cash register/payment systems.
