About the role

Swiss Flavours, an FSSC 22000 certified company specializing in flavorings and colorants for food products across Europe, is seeking a Quality Manager. The role ensures the food safety and quality management system complies with international standards and supports continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the food safety and quality management system according to FSSC 22000 requirements.
• Represent the company during external audits, client audits, and regulatory inspections.
• Plan and conduct internal audits, evaluating process compliance with defined standards.
• Lead HACCP team meetings and coordinate the food safety system.
• Organize employee training on quality, food safety, and internal processes.
• Manage customer complaints, non‑conformities, and corrective actions.
• Prepare and provide required quality documentation to customers, suppliers, and partners.
• Enhance the quality documentation system for clarity, relevance, and accessibility.
• Coordinate certification processes, including Halal and Kosher maintenance.
• Maintain structured information on processes, responsibilities, and work instructions.

Required profile

• Higher education, preferably in chemistry, food technology or a related field.
• Previous experience in quality management within a food company operating under GFSI‑recognized standards (e.g., BRCGS, FSSC 22000, IFS).
• Excellent spoken and written Latvian and English.
• Strong communication, organizational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions and drive process improvements.
• High precision, responsibility and a systematic approach.
