Junior Data Center Technician – AI Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for Junior Data Center Technicians to join our rapidly growing AI infrastructure site in Riga. This hands‑on position offers exposure to cutting‑edge AI compute hardware, including high‑density servers, GPUs and liquid‑cooling systems.

Key responsibilities

• Rack and install servers, switches and related equipment.
• Run, dress, label and test copper and fibre cabling.
• Support hardware installations, swaps and routine maintenance.
• Identify and replace failed components such as drives, fans, power supplies, CPUs and boards.
• Perform cable and link checks, trace physical faults and assist troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Some practical technical experience (e.g., data centre, IT hardware, cabling, telecoms or field service).
• Comfort working with physical equipment, tools and components.
• Basic understanding of networking, cabling or computer hardware.
• Methodical approach to problem solving and willingness to ask for help.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a shift‑based, 24/7 on‑site team.

Required skills

• Experience with server, storage or network hardware (preferred).
• Fibre or copper cabling knowledge.
• Familiarity with GPU hardware or liquid‑cooling systems (optional).
