Junior Algo Trader

About the role

Gravity Team is seeking a data‑driven Junior Algorithmic Trader to join its quantitative proprietary trading desk focused on crypto and event‑driven markets. You will work closely with developers to improve trading systems and turn data insights into actionable strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Dive into the global trading system and propose enhancements.
• Analyse large data sets to identify trends and trading opportunities.
• Monitor system performance and suggest optimisation measures.
• Develop and implement data‑driven trading logic together with developers.
• Create proof‑of‑concepts and, when approved, fully develop them.

Required profile

• Strong passion for data analysis, statistics or econometrics.
• Proficiency in Python (mandatory) and familiarity with Rust (a plus).
• Ability to read and understand existing codebases.
• Experience with large data sets or trading systems is advantageous.
• Knowledge of crypto markets and exchanges is highly valued.
• Recent graduates with the right skill set are welcome.
