About the role

This part‑time internship offers two positions for junior CNC milling operators. You will work 30 hours per week for a period of ten months, gaining hands‑on experience with CNC equipment while studying.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in loading and executing CNC programs on work tables.
• Support first‑article quality control of manufactured parts.
• Carry out tasks within a team, focusing on assigned groups of machines.
• Load cutting tools and fixtures equipped with measurement systems.
• Perform simple preparation work before machining operations.

Required profile

• Mechatronics or mechanical engineering students from at least the second year of bachelor studies, or vocational‑school students from the second year onward.
• Interest in learning CNC technology and basic machining principles.
• Understanding of measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Good Latvian language skills.
