About the role

Swedbank is offering a 6‑month internship as a Junior Assistant in the Client Collaboration Compliance department. You will support KYC, AML and sanctions screening activities, helping to prevent financial crime and fraud.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and verify client information and documentation for KYC and AML checks.
• Assist in detailed client research and risk assessment processes.
• Maintain and organize document administration and data aggregation.
• Support deeper investigative procedures when required.
• Collaborate with local and group colleagues across the Baltic region.

Required profile

• Strong interest in data analysis, research and problem solving.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
• High accuracy, concentration and attention to detail.
• Persistence and ability to stay focused on meticulous tasks.
• Capability to set priorities and organise daily work.
• Willingness to take responsibility for assigned duties.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Good Latvian and English language skills for interaction with Baltic and group teams.
