About the role
The Innovation Center Manager will lead and coordinate the activities of the Innovation Center within a leading state university hospital. The role focuses on developing a health‑care innovation ecosystem, testing new products and processes, and fostering international collaborations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the Innovation Center’s operations, promoting the adoption of new solutions in the hospital.
- Oversee testing of new medical products and processes within the hospital environment.
- Build and strengthen international networks with funders, foreign research institutes, and technology developers.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (medical device regulations, clinical trials, ethics committee approvals).
- Integrate research results into hospital processes and develop commercialization pathways.
- Promote an innovation culture by engaging clinicians, researchers, and administration in testing digital health solutions such as AI tools and telemedicine.
Required profile
- Doctoral degree in medicine, biomedical science or a related natural science field (mandatory).
- Minimum 5 years experience in health‑care or clinical research, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience collaborating with clinicians, researchers and administrators in interdisciplinary settings.
- Experience developing international collaboration networks and managing EU research grants (e.g., Horizon Europe, ERAF).
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking, excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent English; additional languages (e.g., Russian, German) are a plus.
Required skills
- Knowledge of medical device regulation, clinical trial processes, and ethics committee procedures.
- Familiarity with AI‑based health solutions and telemedicine platforms.
