HR & Payroll Specialist – Europe (Baltic & Balkan focus)

About the role

Join Aleph’s People Service Delivery team as an HR & Payroll Specialist supporting employees and managers across multiple European markets, with a focus on the Baltic and Balkan regions. You will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant HR and payroll services while acting as a trusted advisor for internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for People Service Delivery queries from employees, managers, and internal partners.
• Perform data entry and maintain records in HRIS and payroll systems according to defined processes.
• Execute country‑specific HR activities such as generating employee contracts and handling statutory documentation.
• Manage the end‑to‑end monthly payroll process for several European countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with external payroll providers and internal Finance, Legal, and HR teams to resolve payroll issues.
• Review salary adjustments, bonuses, commissions, overtime, and statutory payments.
• Reconcile payroll calculations, generate reports, and maintain data integrity across systems.
• Support process improvements, HR system enhancements, and regional People Service Delivery initiatives.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience managing HR and payroll for 4‑5 or more European countries.
• Strong knowledge of local tax, labor, and social security regulations.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Service‑oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high‑quality support.
