About the role

The Floor Cleaning Equipment Operator is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of rooms and shared areas in Latvia's only children’s hospital. The role works on a rotating 2x2 shift pattern, each shift lasting 12 hours, under an indefinite contract.

Key responsibilities

• Operate push‑floor cleaning machines to perform wet cleaning of rooms and common zones.
• Ensure all spaces are cleaned according to the established schedule.
• Monitor and keep cleaning inventory orderly and stocked.
• Replenish hygiene and cleaning supplies promptly when needed.
• Follow sanitary, disinfection, occupational safety and fire‑prevention regulations.
• Collaborate with colleagues and report any issues affecting work quality to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Basic education.
• Proficiency in Latvian.
• Responsible, meticulous attitude toward work.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate empathetically.
• Willingness to adhere to hygiene and safety standards.
• Previous cleaning experience is an advantage.
• Certification or training in operating cleaning equipment is desirable.
