French-speaking Accountant – Store Accounting Team

About the role

We are looking for a French‑speaking Accountant to join the Store Accounting Team supporting the Belgium business unit. Based in our Riga Finance & Control department, you will work with colleagues across Europe to ensure accurate financial reporting for dealer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Process debit and credit notes and perform daily, weekly and monthly accounting tasks for dealer sites.
• Clear daily transactions, identify and correct errors in collaboration with the Belgium team.
• Respond to queries from site managers, business‑unit representatives and external partners.
• Prepare and post journal entries based on information received from business units.
• Support other departments by answering questions about processed financial records.
• Execute month‑end closing procedures, resolving discrepancies.
• Participate in process‑improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of accounting experience.
• Fluent in English and French (minimum C1 level), both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, organized and solution‑oriented mindset.
• Self‑motivated team player with good communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP or JDE.
