Fragrance Sales Specialist

About the role

As a Fragrance Sales Specialist you will use your fragrance knowledge to inspire guests, create memorable moments and drive sales in an onboard boutique on cruise ships worldwide. You will engage travelers in a relaxed, curious environment, helping them discover personal scents, gifts or new fragrances while they are on holiday at sea.

Key responsibilities

• Introduce guests to new launches, hero fragrances, gifting options and promotions, using knowledge of notes, fragrance families and brand stories.
• Offer testers, encourage product trials and create engaging conversations that turn browsing into confident purchases.
• Support onboard events, seminars and promotional activities to generate interest and maximise sales opportunities.
• Maintain the boutique during busy periods by staying guest‑focused and delivering fast, friendly service.
• When quieter, refresh product knowledge, prepare displays, replenish stock and assist the wider team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in fragrance, beauty or premium retail sales.
• Strong sales energy and a natural, confident approach to face‑to‑face interactions.
• Ability to adapt style quickly and create momentum without making guests feel pressured.

Required skills

• In‑depth product knowledge of fragrance notes, families and brand stories.
• Excellent face‑to‑face sales and demonstration skills.
