Finance Officer

About the role

The Canadian Armed Forces Detachment in Latvia is seeking a Finance Officer to support military personnel at the EfTEN Logistics Bergi Warehouse. This full‑time, on‑site role involves managing financial resources, ensuring compliance with government policies, and supporting project systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage financial resources, budgets, and expenditures.
• Support financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Maintain and administer financial and project management systems.

Required profile

• Secondary/high school diploma or equivalent with at least two years of administrative support experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring expenditures.
• Experience preparing financial reports, briefings, dashboards, or presentations for management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Financial planning, budgeting, and analysis capabilities.
• Financial reporting and dashboard creation.
• Use of financial management systems such as Horizon, Jumis, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
