Experienced Consultant in Audit

About the role

EY is hiring an experienced consultant in its Assurance team in Riga. As an auditor you will help clients meet regulatory requirements by accurately reporting on financial statements and providing meaningful insights, working with organisations across different industries and countries.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate an understanding of the audit client's business
• Collect the necessary data and information from clients, set up and maintain audit files and prepare leads
• Support the planning, execution and delivery of audit engagements
• Document audit procedures clearly and accurately according to engagement objectives, client history and planned approach
• Analyse additional data and information based on engagement needs

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in external financial audit or relevant accounting experience
• University degree, or final-year student of economics, finance, accounting, business or another business-related subject
• Excellent Latvian and English, as the work involves international clients

Salary: 1,500 - 1,800 EUR gross depending on previous experience.
