Data Engineer – Design and Build Scalable Data Pipelines

About the role

Accenture Baltics is seeking a motivated Data Engineer to join its Data Architecture team. You will work across multiple industries, designing, building, and maintaining modern data solutions for Fortune 500 clients while continuously learning and improving.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines that ingest, process, and transform large data volumes from diverse sources.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate data requirements into effective solutions.
• Optimize data workflows for performance, efficiency, and reliability.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through validation, testing, and monitoring.
• Identify automation opportunities to streamline data processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience building data pipelines using technologies such as Apache Spark and Apache Kafka.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java.
• Excellent SQL proficiency and experience with relational and non‑relational databases.
• EU work permit and availability to start within 1‑3 months.
