Controller Fuel Stock & Deal Control

About the role

The Fuel Operations Control & Accounting department at Circle K in Riga is expanding its team to support the growing European network of fuel stations. As a Controller Fuel Stock & Deal Control you will become a subject‑matter expert in the fuel value chain and ensure accurate stock reporting and shrinkage investigation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop expertise and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the fuel value chain.
• Control and report stock movements and balances for your portfolio in the ERP system.
• Investigate fuel shrinkage, identifying losses or gains.
• Identify, analyse and resolve discrepancies related to fuel stock.
• Maintain documentation and records to support audit trails.
• Interact with Business Unit operations, technical services and other stakeholders.
• Participate as an SME in fuel business projects, UAT and system upgrades.

Required profile

• Higher education in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
• Experience in accounting, finance or inventory/stock control is an advantage.
• Fluency in English for daily contact with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex issues.
• Improvement‑driven mindset with a collaborative, team‑player attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office tools.
• Knowledge of accounting systems (advantage).
