Commercial Excellence Segment Lead

About the role

The Commercial Excellence Segment Lead will drive the adoption and embedding of Commercial Excellence (ComEx) tools and processes across the assigned segment. Working closely with segment leaders, you will provide analytical support, training and thought partnership to help commercial teams achieve their targets.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and embed ComEx capabilities and tools, acting as the primary ambassador for the segment.
• Design, maintain and distribute standard and custom dashboards, reports and KPIs for global, regional and local commercial teams.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analysis of ComEx metrics such as policy effectiveness, market needs and sales performance.
• Deliver internal and external training on tools (e.g., Salesforce, account planning, negotiations, professional selling, marketing) for new hires and ongoing refreshers.
• Partner with segment commercial leaders to identify adoption gaps and recommend improvements.
• Support sales and marketing teams with one‑on‑one coaching, best‑practice sharing and live case assistance.
• Collaborate with Digital teams on tool enhancements, collect feedback and manage change requests.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting commercial functions in a global, matrixed environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and influence senior leaders.
