Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

About the role

Estoty is seeking a hands‑on Chief Technology Officer to shape the technology strategy and lead development of game backend systems, shared services, infrastructure and internal platforms. This senior technical leadership role combines strategic ownership with hands‑on engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Define technology strategy, architecture and technical roadmap across the company.
• Lead development of game backend systems and shared GameTech services (e.g., Nakama, GameKit).
• Manage UA technology integrations, advertising networks and creative management systems.
• Oversee internal platforms and tools such as back‑office, helpdesk and automation solutions.
• Ensure infrastructure reliability, security and cost efficiency on AWS and Google Cloud.
• Establish engineering standards, testing, releases, monitoring and incident management processes.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers and shape the engineering organization.

Required profile

• Previous experience as CTO, Head/VP of Engineering, Principal Engineer or Technical Director.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in backend development and distributed systems architecture.
• Solid knowledge of Golang; experience with Nakama is a strong plus.
• Practical experience with AWS, containers, PostgreSQL/MySQL, message queues and caching systems.
• Deep understanding of security, IAM, observability, incident management and disaster recovery.
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams and align technical work with business priorities.
