Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – Hands‑on Tech Leader

About the role

Estoty is looking for a hands‑on Chief Technology Officer to shape the technology strategy and lead the development of game backend systems, shared services, infrastructure, and internal platforms. This senior technical leadership role combines strategic ownership with active engineering work, allowing you to define direction while solving complex technical challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Define technology strategy, architecture, and technical roadmap across the company.
• Lead development of game backend systems, shared GameTech services (e.g., Nakama, GameKit), and UA technology integrations.
• Oversee internal platforms such as back‑office tools, helpdesk, and automation solutions.
• Ensure infrastructure reliability, security, and cost efficiency on AWS and Google Cloud.
• Establish engineering standards for development, testing, releases, monitoring, and incident management.
• Mentor engineers, shape the engineering organization, and drive critical technical initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a CTO, Head/VP of Engineering, Principal Engineer, or Technical Director.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in backend development and distributed systems architecture.
• Ability to make pragmatic technical decisions while balancing engineering quality with business impact.
• Leadership experience planning technical work around business priorities.
