Business Development / Sales Manager – New Client Acquisition

About the role

This full‑time remote position focuses on driving new client acquisition and expanding RoasterPack.com’s customer base among small‑batch coffee roasters. The Business Development / Sales Manager will identify prospects, manage a pipeline, and close new business.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify prospects and build a consistent pipeline of leads.
• Conduct discovery calls to understand each roaster’s packaging needs.
• Prepare and deliver tailored sales presentations and develop proposals with pricing options.
• Negotiate terms, close deals and onboard new accounts.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth fulfillment and maintain accurate CRM records.
• Track performance against sales targets and generate regular reports.
• Perform market research, attend virtual industry events and continuously refine outreach strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in new business development and lead generation.
• Strong ability to create and deliver persuasive sales presentations.
• Proficiency in sales and account management, including closing opportunities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills with a consultative selling approach.
• Comfortable working remotely with strong time‑management and self‑direction.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and basic sales analytics.
• Background in packaging, coffee, food & beverage is a plus but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
