AI Agent Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AI Agent Developer to join the AIKA Squad within If Insurance’s Intelligent Automation Enabler unit. You will design, build and operate AI agents and end‑to‑end workflows that combine large language models, automation tools and enterprise systems to deliver tangible business value.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and operate AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, using tools and collaborating with other agents.
• Build end‑to‑end AI‑enabled workflows with the n8n platform, integrating RPA, generative AI and human decision points.
• Connect agents to enterprise applications, APIs, data sources and business processes while ensuring security and reliability.
• Implement monitoring, tracing, error handling and safety controls for production solutions.

Required profile

• Pragmatic software engineer with strong interest in agentic AI and workflow automation.
• Hands‑on experience delivering production‑grade solutions that balance experimentation with security and operational reliability.
• Comfortable taking ownership, collaborating across boundaries and supporting solutions in production.

Required skills

• Agent and LLM development, Azure OpenAI orchestration, n8n workflow automation.
• Azure services: Functions, App Services, Storage, Key Vault, Event Grid, API Management, Entra ID.
• Programming languages: C# (.NET), TypeScript/React, Python.
• CI/CD with Azure DevOps, Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform or Bicep).
• Evaluation and observability tools for LLM systems, Microsoft Agent Framework, GitHub Copilot.
