Accountant Payroll

About the role

The Finance & Control department at Circle K Business Centre in Riga is part of a global finance organisation responsible for the full accounting and financial reporting cycle for Circle K European operations. Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and control payroll data flow, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Support employees with salary‑related questions.
• Review and validate expense reports and process travel expense payments.
• Prepare financial and operational payroll reports.
• Book payroll costs to the appropriate GL accounts and reconcile related accounts.
• Participate in payroll‑related projects, system testing and improvements.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Previous experience in payroll or payroll accounting.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information.
• Fluency in English for communication with European colleagues.
• Good computer skills, with experience in MS Office; WorkDay or SAP is a plus.
• Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail.
