Accountant – Global Compliance and Reporting

About the role

Join EY's Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) team as an Accountant. You will support financial integrity by handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to transparent financial reporting for international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Post transactions, maintain accounting records and issue invoices.
• Manage bank accounts and calculate payroll accurately.
• Perform account reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues to deliver timely financial reporting.

Required profile

• Motivation to learn and develop.
• Graduate degree or current studies in economics, finance, accounting or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Latvian and English.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Team‑player attitude.
