Accountant for Netherlands Business Unit

About the role

Join Circle K's Finance & Control department in Riga as an Accountant supporting the Netherlands business unit within the Station Accounting Team. You will be part of a global finance organization handling full accounting and reporting cycles for European operations.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to queries from site managers, business unit representatives and external partners.
• Check, prepare and process journal entries based on information received.
• Issue invoices to franchise stations and prepare payouts.
• Perform periodical closing procedures and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Handle audit requests and document process controls for financial compliance.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or current student in one of these fields.
• Previous experience in accounting, finance or audit.
• Fluent English (verbal and written); Dutch is a plus.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
