Accountant – Finance & Control

About the role

Join the Finance & Control department of Circle K Business Centre in Riga, supporting European operations with full accounting and financial reporting responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and year‑end accounting and reporting in line with Group deadlines and guidelines.
• Resolve operational accounting issues, discrepancies and irregularities.
• Maintain close dialogue with Business units across Europe and North America.
• Support internal and external audits for business units.

Required profile

• University degree with an Accounting specialization (preferred).
• At least 3 years of accounting experience in an international environment.
• Strong analytical abilities and ability to work in a changing environment.
• Fluent English (oral and written).
• ACCA certification or ongoing ACCA studies is an asset.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with general ledger functions and month‑end/year‑end close processes.
• Familiarity with accounting systems.
