Quality Control Specialist

About the role

Aerones is looking for a detail-focused, hands-on Quality Control Specialist in Riga to ensure every part going into its robots meets the required standards. The role covers inspecting manufactured and purchased parts, handling non-conformities from first report to corrective action, running Factory and Site Acceptance Tests and helping improve the quality systems behind production.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and verify manufactured and purchased parts against company standards, specifications and procedures.
• Identify and document non-conformities, prepare non-conformity reports and coordinate corrective actions until resolved.
• Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and prepare clear test reports.
• Take part in product testing and verification to confirm products meet quality and performance requirements.
• Propose solutions to quality issues and recommend improvements to quality control processes.
• Support the maintenance, implementation and continuous improvement of the quality management system.
• Keep quality control documentation accurate, consistent and up to date.

Required profile

• Technical or engineering knowledge with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to quality, accuracy and detail; proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• Good Latvian and professional English, spoken and written.
• Nice to have: hands-on FAT or SAT experience, familiarity with ISO 9001, and experience with measuring and inspection tools.

Required skills

• Confident use of MS Office, Google Drive and ERP systems.
• Ability to develop, document and improve processes and procedures.
