.NET Back-end Developer for Insurance Transformation Program

About the role

Join the Spectre squad of a major insurance transformation program, working on a greenfield integration layer built on Azure and .NET. You will own the design, development and delivery of APIs and micro‑services that connect the new Guidewire core system with existing mobility insurance products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain robust .NET (C#) APIs, micro‑services and integration solutions on Azure.
• Advance DevOps maturity by implementing test automation (unit, contract, integration, E2E) and feature‑toggling strategies.
• Enable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and enforce automated quality gates.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers and product teams to ensure secure, scalable, and high‑quality solutions.
• Mentor other developers, create standards, onboarding guides and conduct code reviews.

Required profile

• Solution‑oriented developer with strong communication skills in Latvian and English.
• Passionate about modern engineering practices, continuous learning and helping squads improve delivery maturity.
• Enjoys working in an agile, hybrid environment and can influence technology and ways of working.

Required skills

• .NET (C#) development for APIs and micro‑services.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services and integration patterns.
• Test automation across the test pyramid (unit, integration, contract, E2E).
• CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, feature toggling and trunk‑based development.
• Infrastructure as code, monitoring and logging.
