Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

Industry Partner Limited SIA is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to design both mechanical and electronic components of its equipment. The role combines hardware design, PLC programming and close collaboration with suppliers to deliver complete solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design electronic (motors, frequency converters, control systems) and mechanical parts of manufactured equipment.
• Configure motor control systems, sensors and actuators to meet application requirements.
• Develop, analyse and test PLC programs for customer orders.
• Search for suitable components and cooperate with suppliers and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Higher education in Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to design both mechanical and electronic parts.
• Experience with Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, Omron, Schneider Electric controllers.
• Fluent Latvian and good English for international communication.
• Independent work style with responsibility for assigned projects.
• Strong communication, teamwork and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• SolidWorks – design and drafting.
• PLC programming.
• Hands‑on experience with Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, Omron and Schneider Electric controllers.
