Senior PowerBI Engineer

About the role

Mintos is building a platform that makes investing in income‑generating assets simple and accessible. As a Senior PowerBI Engineer you will design and run a scalable, governed Power BI environment that supports millions of investors and enables fast, self‑service analytics across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑performance data loading processes from SQL databases, APIs and other sources, selecting appropriate refresh strategies.
• Build and maintain enterprise‑grade semantic models with well‑structured DAX measures, relationships and row‑level security.
• Create visually compelling, intuitive reports and dashboards with clear hierarchy, navigation and accessibility.
• Define and enforce Power BI development standards, covering visual design guidelines, naming conventions, deployment practices and documentation.
• Review reports and models, diagnose performance bottlenecks and drive improvements.
• Gather requirements from business stakeholders, translate them into scalable analytical solutions and support users in understanding insights.

Required profile

• 5+ years of BI development experience, with at least 3 years focused on Power BI at enterprise scale.
• Hands‑on experience designing Power BI semantic models, writing DAX, optimizing reports and tuning performance.
• Ability to balance reusability, performance, maintainability and delivery speed in architectural decisions.
• Strong SQL skills, including query optimisation and performance‑aware data modelling.
