Lead Software Engineer - Solutions

About the role

As a Solutions Software Engineer Team Lead at Dynamic Yield by Mastercard, you will guide a talented group of developers to create innovative web and mobile experiences that enhance our clients' digital personalization. You will act as a technical authority, mentor, and hands‑on contributor while collaborating closely with customers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced web and mobile solutions using modern technologies.
• Mentor and grow a team of Web Solutions Developers, promoting best practices.
• Partner with customer developers to understand requirements, provide expert advice, and join technical calls when needed.
• Build and maintain reusable tools, integrations, and campaign templates with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Manage development efforts across diverse customer environments, even with unfamiliar technologies.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging frameworks and cloud services.
• Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to align solutions with business goals.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional web development experience, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a customer‑first mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
